ADAPT video: talking about urgent global issues

In my previous posts I described our framework for understanding the most urgent issues affecting the world today — coined under the acronym ADAPT. This video of me describing ADAPT to PwC partners was recorded in October 2017 at the PwC Central and Eastern Europe Partner Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia. The video explains why I believe our kids’ and grandkids’ future depends on our ability to manage these issues with insight and empathy:

· Asymmetry: Increasing wealth disparity and the erosion of the middle class.
· Disruption: Disruption of business models and blurring of industry boundaries.
· Age: Demographic pressure on business, social institutions and economies.
· Populism: Breakdown in global consensus and increasing nationalism.
· Trust: Declining trust in institutions and consequences of technology.
